Free Pattern – Sunburst Facial Scrubbies

Another week and another free pattern!

I know a lot of you have been having extremely cold temperatures across the US so I am not going to complain about our 17F temperature with a wind-chill factor of 1F. Ok, so maybe I will! I normally love the cold and can’t stand the heat but I must confess that this is a bit too cold for me. I’m so thankful that we live close to an airport because we rarely lose power. Some of my friends are in freezing cold houses right now. Brrrr!

Now that my complaining is out of the way, I can now present you with my latest free pattern, the Sunburst Facial Scrubbie! I came up with this as I was telling my children that it’s important to keep their faces moisturized when going out in the below-freezing temperatures. I started thinking of faces, which led me to think of my face and how I needed something soft to help wash my face at night. A million rabbit holes later (there where many in-between my initial thought and final destination), I came up with this adorable facial scrubbie. I have tons of cotton yarn scraps left from my summer crochet projects. These don’t take up much yarn and hook up really quickly. The best part is you can add a strap so that it stays firmly in your grasp.  I’m sure I’ll be making tons of these for Christmas presents next year. Shhhhhh.. don’t tell.

My goal is to come up with simple and quick projects that are fun for any skill level. I hope you are enjoying them and that you are staying warm (or cool) in your part of the world!
